I mean, that way if only one can be seen via USB, and the other BCF2000 is a MIDI extension of the first, then maybe that might work. +1 Same here.Maybe I should revisit the MIDI interconnect thing. UPDATE: See THIS post if you are having issues with multiple BCF2000's like I was having: So, what do do to get both 2000's visible and operable within CuBase in 7 / 64? More info - when I ran them in XP 32, I just used the USB approach - I didn't bother daisy-chaining them using a DIN (MIDI) cable.I just plugged them into a USB hub, and it worked. Within 7 64 proper, I see both of the BCF2000 under the devices, and there are no indications of faults, and yet, I can only get one recognized.

I should say than in XP 32, I (sometimes) had to re-run the Behringer 32-bit driver, but after doing that, both BCF2000 were seen and operated as planned. However, now in 7 / 64 I can only get CuBase to recognize one of the BCF2000 even though the OS proper 'sees' both distinct devices. I would bring them in (import), and all was well. xml files for the 'low' mixer and a separate xml for the 'high' mixer. In XP 32, I could easily run two BCF2000 as I ran them as "generic remote and generic remote 2" within CuBase.

OK.so I finally upgraded my machine and installed 7 64 on it (a long, long time coming, but hey, XP 32 worked just fine, so.).

I've always just run the two BCF2000 in the bC emulation mode as it has always simply just 'worked' that way, and I'm hoping that the switch to the new hardware and OS doesn't hold (m)any cruel and costly surprises.
#Behringer usb audio driver for windows 7 upgrade
If I don't have to upgrade from LE5, I probably won't.but if I do.then I may just entertain switching to a different DAW.who knows? I get that it seems to be related to the DAW of choice, but to the knowledge of those who have contributed to this thread, can I expect the two BCF 2000's to run with LE5 with no issues under 7 - 64? I know many of you will say that I should upgrade to a 'real' version of CuBase (or a 'real' DAW), but I'm a big fan of using stuff that's essentially free, and that suits my needs. I've read in this (long-dormant) thread that for some, it's worked perfectly (though no one has explicitly mentioned LE versions), for some, it's worked for a while, and for others, not at all. So, I will soon be running a dual-core XEON machine, with 7-64, and I'm wondering if the two BCF2000 (along with LE5) will be problematic under 7. That is, the free version has worked just fine, and I have the LE5 disc sitting on a shelf (as a consequence of having bought some hardware, and LE5 was bundled).

Believe it or not, the LE version has suited me just fine as I do not invoke all kinds of VST instruments, nor am I really ever using CuBase to acquire - I simply use it as a post process engine (I use my portable recorders to record gigs), and since I tend to be a minimalist, I don't really have need for extensive post capabilities.

I have been using them for almost two years under XP Pro with CuBase LE4, but alas, it's time to update my wares (for the better). I have two of these, and have loved them. Has anyone installed the BCF on a machine running Windows XP 64bit?Good question.
